Beyonics employees in Malaysia donate to aid victims of historic floods in Malaysia

15 February 2022

Malaysia’s worst flooding in years due to unusually heavy rainfall in the month of December 2021 has displaced more than 125,000 people across the states of Selangor, Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Johor, Malacca, Negeri Sembilan and Sabah.

In response to the call for ‘Supporting the people of the Malaysia”, a charity activity in aid victims of historic floods was launched on 23rd December 2021 in Beyonics Malaysia.  With strong support from the employees and management of Beyonics, we collected cash amounting to RM24,687 as well as donations in-kind such as rice, flour, sugar, instant noodles, etc towards relief efforts to assist victims of the floods in Johor state.

The donations were handed over to the Malaysia Red Crescent Society (MRCS) on 13th January 2022.  The representatives of MRCS were very happy and grateful for the support of all Beyonics employees.  This was a practical and meaningful activity to help the victims to pass through the difficult and rebuild their home.  The MRCS will arrange to distribute the donated items to the affected communities in Johor areas.
