Appointment of Chairman of Audit Committee

The Board of Directors wishes to announce that Mr Loke Poh Keun has been appointed as the Chairman of the Audit Committee with effect from 19 September 2002. Mr Loke Poh Keun has been a member of the Audit Committee since 1999. Mr Lew Syn Pau, the retiring Chairman, will remain as a member of the Audit Committee.
